The 8th China Venous Congress 2024, sponsored by Guangdong Medical Association, China Venous Intervention Alliance, China Hemangioma and Vascular Malformation Alliance, China Women and Children's Intervention Alliance, Chinese Journal of Interventional Radiology, and China Health Association, and organized by Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital, Nanjing First Hospital, Hunan Provincial People's Hospital, Xuzhou Medical University Affiliated Hospital, China Medical University Affiliated First Hospital, and Guangzhou Women and Children's Medical Center, and co organized by the editorial department of the Journal of Interventional Radiology, was successfully held in Guangzhou from September 19 to 21, 2024.

At the same time as the conference, there were academic conferences such as the 8th Lingnan Minimally Invasive Interventional Medicine Summit, the 14th China Pediatric Interventional Medicine Academic Conference, the 8th China Obstetrics and Gynecology Interventional Medicine Academic Conference, the 14th National Symposium on Comprehensive Diagnosis and Treatment of Hemangioma and Vascular Malformation, the 6th China Interventional Medicine Clinical Research Summit, the 3rd Southern Interventional College Kunpeng Intervention Forum, and the Guangdong Medical Association Interventional Physician Branch Annual Meeting. The aim of this conference is to create a top-level and authoritative academic platform for the diagnosis and treatment of vascular diseases in China, better promoting the improvement of domestic vascular disease diagnosis and intervention diagnosis and treatment levels, and benefiting a wider range of patients.

The conference invites top interventional medical experts at home and abroad to conduct academic exchanges on anatomy, pathology, diagnosis, treatment, and other aspects. Through various forms such as special lectures, specialized training, case presentations, and academic debates, discussions will be held on new technologies and developments in interventional diagnosis and treatment for common diseases such as vascular malformations, portal hypertension, Budd Chiari syndrome, and tubal obstruction.

At the obstetrics and gynecology intervention session, several well-known intervention experts gave special speeches and shared their clinical applications and cases of hysterosalpingography and interventional diagnosis and treatment products, fully affirming their application value in hysterosalpingography and interventional diagnosis and treatment. Experts have stated that with the development and progress of interventional technology and equipment, the diagnosis and treatment level of fallopian tube diseases in China has been greatly improved.
